The stereotaxic apparatus is the key equipment of brain science research. It uses the marks on the surface of animal skull (such as bregma) as the basic reference point, determines the position of a neural structure (nucleus / brain area) under the animal cerebral cortex through the directional movement of three-dimensional operation arm, and further carries out operations such as injection, stimulation, destruction, signal recording etc. It is also the basic equipment for brain cognition and brain function research, and usually associated with equipment including optogenetics, two-photon imaging, optical fiber recording, electrophysiology and other systems.

1,  The screw rod has the same journey as the two guide rods in the X/Y/Z operating arms, which increases the concentric directions of the driving.

2,  The operating arms no longer have the driving structure of hard grinding between two metals, and have been replaced by rolling mechanism, which greatly reduces the abrasion of metals and ensures the stability, precision and lifetime. 

3,  Reduce the use of connecting joints, which greatly eliminate the error caused by multiple joints connection and also  improve the stability.

4,  The adaptor and ear bar can parallel move before fastening, plus the optional screw rod drive , which makes the movement more stable and fine, and finally reduces the cumbersome operation steps of head fixation.
