At present, optogenetics, electrophysiology, microscopic imaging and other technologies have been widely used in the experiment of studying brain function. However, due to the limitations of technical requirements, in vivo research is mainly carried out on anesthetized animals, which can not simulate a real or natural environment. Therefore, how to study awaking animals (i.e. free moving animals) has become a scientific research difficulty. The SCM100D series stereotaxic for conscious mice allows to place conscious mice in several behavioral experimental scenes while carrying out experiments such as optogenetics, electrophysiology or microscopic imaging after skull fixation, precise location of target brain, which helps scientific researchers more precisely detect the function of mouse neurons and understand the complexity and diversity of brain information transmission. Understanding the function of brain nuclei and the pathogenesis of some brain related diseases (such as Alzheimer's disease and epilepsy) will improve the guiding significance for the prevention and treatment of these related neurological diseases in human medicine.
