This economical head stabilizer is suitable for head fixation of rats or mice. The height of the ear rods is fixed, and the horizontal adjustment of the head can be achieved by adjusting the nose clip.
The head fixation method relies on the cooperation of three actions: "inserting the ear canal, buckling the incisors and pressing the bridge of the nose". It assists in connecting the gas anesthesia machine and the exhaust gas absorption system. It has the advantages of simple, fast and stable head fixation. Its functional characteristics are as follows:
※ Inserting the ear canal: The ear rod is equipped with a V-shaped groove. Under the action of the screw, the ear rod moves smoothly left and right to adjust the balance, and is locked for the last time;
※ Buckle the incisors and nose bridge: rely on the tapered cavity of the anesthesia breathing mask to press the nose bridge. The position of the incisors and nose bridge can be adjusted front to back, up and down to keep it level with the center of the two front ears and ensure smooth breathing;
※ You can choose to wear a gas anesthesia breathing mask (optional), and the air inlet and exhaust end connectors are connected to the gas anesthesia machine and exhaust gas absorption system respectively;
※ Rat and mouse specifications are available and purchased separately.
